Biography :
I am a PhD candidate and NSERC scholar in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto. The objectives of my research are to examine how small differences in the biology of any two species can often results in drastically different levels of conservation need – even when facing the same threats. My work is situated in northwestern Madagascar, where I am studying the population and landscape ecology of two closely related species, the Critically Endangered mongoose lemur (Eulemur mongoz) and the Near Threatened common brown lemur (E. fulvus).
