Postdoctoral Fellows and Visiting Scholars

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto welcomes applications from those interested in becoming engaged as Visiting Professors or Postdoctoral Fellows.

Postdoctoral Fellows

Prospective Postdoctoral Fellows should visit the SGS Postdoctoral Awards page for further information. You are also encouraged to directly contact graduate faculty you might be interested in working with.

Visiting Graduate Students

Prospective Scholars who are currently graduate students at another institution can find information on how to become a Visiting Graduate Students via SGS's Visiting and Exchange Opportunities.

Visiting Professors

Those holding continuing appointments at other universities or research institutes may apply to be appointed as a Visiting Professors. Visiting Professors are given access to  University of Toronto IT and library resources, and may be offered office space. Further information on the policies and procedures governing the appointment of Visiting Professors can be found in the U of T academic administrative manual. Should you wish to be appointed a Visiting Professor in the Department of Anthropology, please email your CV, the purpose, and dates associated with your proposed visit to anthro.officeofthechair@utoronto.ca.
